My work and Dane's work merged

One of the perks of my job is to take my students on field trips every Wed and Friday for Community Awareness and Recreation Awareness. I asked Dane if he would consider providing a tour for my students. He agreed with me that this would be a great opportunity for my students, where most of them have never stepped foot on a golf course. He did a phenomenal job with my students. Thank you Babe!
The students listen carefully to golf etiquette

This student was my partner for the day. I partnered up the students; some of them are a little more sophisticated to drive a golf cart, while the other half were best suited as passengers.

The students were tickled to be driving the carts. I believe this will be a moment that they will treasure and never forget. They thought they were on an amusement park ride.

Dane lead and the cautious drivers followed behind. :o)

small Nor Cal trip

We decided to take a small trip to my aunts home in Healdsburg. My parents were house- sitting her home. House-sitting involved watering an abundance of plants and caring for a dog that is the size of a pony. Cole took to helping out with these chores with such an eager to please dispostion.
First feed the plants with plenty of water.
Then give the Great Dane, Zues some love.

Dane and I decided to take a small photo shoot of the boys while heading home.
This may possibly be our Christmas Card picture. What do you think?

Dutch Baby

This Delicious Breakfast Treat brings me back to my childhood.
Mom would make this for us on infrequent occassions. It was always so fun to see it come straight from the oven, puffed high above the rim of the skillet. The smell is divine and the appearance is enchanting. The taste... the taste is heavenly.
I've been searching for the recipe ever since I moved out of my parents home. To no avail I continued my search via the internet and cookbooks... nothing came up. I was a newlywed and wanted to share a childhood breakfast treat with him, I was a new mom and wanted to share it with my kids. I think it is so important to share great memories with my kids.... taking them to Yosemite.... taking them to cement slides...
Every couple years would pass and I would peek into the internet's offerings of recipe sites. Bingo!
My dear husband and boys loved it!

Let's Go A's!

Cole's first day of Pre-School

Cole started his first day of PreSchool on Sept 8th. He is so excited to be a big boy and attend a school just like his big brother.
Pic soon to come..

Cement Slide

There goes Tanner!
The kids standing on the hill rated the slide runs
like the Olympics... Tanner got a "9"
Cole and I took a spill! We got a "2" :o/
I quickly found out a better hold on Cole and
had several successful rides after. "9's"

Tanner's face says it all. This park in Berkeley Ca is amazingly fun, fun. Mommy, Daddy, and Coley had fun on this slide too as it is a slide for all ages. Yes, all ages were on it too, from 3yrs old on up to 70 yr olds were enjoying this cement 40ft long chute.

Everything is Peachy

Picking the best Peaches

The Peaches turned into Delicious Peach Pies

My mom and I decided to take the boys to a local peach orchard. It was a very hot day 100* at least. The boys did an excellent job picking the peaches and an even more excellent job putting their pies together. Cole was very cautious to place the peach slices in their proper circular pattern, whilst Tanner sorta "threw" his together. In the end, it didn't matter whose looked the prettiest as they both turned out delicious.
